Tangla Map Poster & Print
Tangla is a town in Udalguri district, on the northern side of the Brahmaputra valley in Assam, not far from the foothills that rise toward Bhutan. The land here is flat and green. On the map the town is a modest cluster of streets along a main road and railway, surrounded by paddy fields, villages and large, neatly bounded tea gardens.
Tea is central to life in this part of Assam, and the estates in the district appear on the map as large rectangles with their own internal roads and settlements. Small rivers and streams run south from the hills toward the Brahmaputra, crossing the plain in shallow channels that can shift their course with the monsoon.
A Tangla map poster captures this green, orderly landscape in pure line work: the town at the centre, the long rail and road corridors, and the patchwork of estates and fields around it. It suits people from the Bodoland region who now live elsewhere in India or abroad, and anyone with memories of tea country.

Foothill streams
Rivers and streams from the Himalayan foothills to the north cross the plain toward the Brahmaputra, drawing wandering lines between fields and villages.
Road and rail axis
The town is strung along its main road and railway, giving the map a clear central spine with neighbourhoods and markets arranged along it.

For families from Udalguri district, Tangla is often the market town at the heart of childhood memories: the station, the bazaar, the road out to the tea gardens. A map poster turns those familiar places into a calm, lasting image for the home.
