The rock
The rocky outcrop that gives Azrou its name rises beside the town. Streets curve around its base instead of crossing it.

Azrou Map Poster & Print
Azrou lies in the Middle Atlas of Morocco, where the road from Meknes and Fes climbs into the mountains toward Midelt and the south. The town's name comes from the Amazigh word for rock, after the large outcrop that stands beside it. On a map, streets pack into a hollow and climb the surrounding slopes.
The layout comes from the terrain. Roads come together at a central junction, the older lanes of the medina fold around it, and newer neighbourhoods spread up the hillsides. Beyond the town, the map turns to forest and high pasture, with narrow roads winding into the hills.
Azrou is known for the Atlas cedar forests nearby, among the largest in Morocco and home to Barbary macaques. The mountain resort of Ifrane lies a short drive north. An Azrou map poster shows a mountain crossroads: roads converging, a dense centre and the forested high country around it.

Mountain junction
Main roads from the north, the south and the west meet in the town centre, forming a clear star of routes on the map.
Cedar country
Forested slopes surround the town, and roads wind into them. They make a dark, textured border in the darker poster styles.

ག་ཅི་འབད་ Azrou
དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Azrou appeals to hikers, travellers who have crossed the Middle Atlas and anyone with family ties to the region. The map has drama, with roads tightening into a mountain junction and forest all around.
Add a meaningful title and subtitle, such as a route or a year, and personalise the coordinates line. Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand each give the mountains a different mood.
