Balāngīr Map Poster & Print
Balāngīr is the headquarters of its district in western Odisha, a region of low hills, seasonal streams and rice fields. From above the town is compact, with a dense core of lanes that loosens into scattered neighbourhoods and open ground at the edges. Water tanks and ponds appear as small blank shapes among the streets.
The railway runs through the town and shapes its layout, with a clear line cutting across the street pattern. Roads leave the centre in several directions toward neighbouring towns, and on a wider frame they become thin spokes crossing a largely rural landscape.
Balāngīr was once the seat of the princely state of Patna, which moved its capital here in the nineteenth century. A Balāngīr map poster is quiet and uncluttered: a small town drawn with care, with room around it for the countryside that frames daily life here.

Ponds and tanks
Small bodies of water scattered through the town appear as calm blank shapes, breaking up the lanes and adding texture to the design.
Roads to the countryside
Highways leave the centre toward the rest of western Odisha, tracing thin lines across open land that frame the town on a wider poster.

Balāngīr is a place people tend to carry with them after moving away for study or work. A map of its streets is a restrained way to keep home on the wall without relying on photographs.
