Bambesi Map Poster & Print
Bambesi is a town in Benishangul-Gumuz, the Ethiopian region that runs along the western border with Sudan. It lies in the same part of the region as the capital, Asosa, and its urban area is modest. From above, it appears as a cluster of streets and compounds set within a broad rural landscape of fields and trees.
Towns in this part of Ethiopia often grow along a main road, with a denser centre of shops and public buildings and a looser fringe of homesteads and garden plots. A map of Bambesi shows a similar gradation: a few defined streets near the core, then tracks and footpaths spreading outward into the surrounding farmland.
A Bambesi map poster records a place that rarely appears in guidebooks but matters to the people connected with it. In a minimalist black-and-white rendering, the thin, irregular lines of roads and paths become an honest portrait of a small town and the land it depends on.

Rural fringe
Beyond the centre, streets give way to tracks and scattered compounds, so the map fades gradually from urban texture into open country.
Wide landscape frame
Because the town is small, larger print sizes leave generous space around it, emphasising how Bambesi sits within a much larger rural setting.

A map of Bambesi is a personal object rather than a tourist souvenir. It suits people who were born or worked there, including teachers, health workers and family members living far away, and who want to keep the town's shape in view.
