Bindura Map Poster & Print
Bindura is the provincial capital of Mashonaland Central, north-east of Harare. Mining shaped the town, and nickel and gold have both been important here. On the map, a central area of regular streets is surrounded by residential suburbs, industrial sites and the open farmland of the region.
The terrain is gently rolling, so the roads curve in places and the suburbs spread unevenly rather than in a strict grid. The town is also home to Bindura University of Science Education, whose campus forms its own distinct area. Roads lead toward Harare and other towns in the province.
A Bindura map poster shows a working town with a clear centre and irregular edges. The spacing between neighbourhoods, with mine land and open ground between them, gives the composition a distinctive, loose rhythm. It suits former students, mining families and anyone who calls Mashonaland Central home.
