Cuango River
The river runs through the valley near town and draws a long, winding line across the map. It is the most defining natural feature.

Cafunfo Map Poster & Print
Cafunfo lies in northeastern Angola, close to the Cuango River, in one of the country's main diamond-producing areas. From above the town is a loose, spread-out settlement with irregular streets and compounds, and the river valley runs nearby. Tracks and roads lead out toward mining areas and neighbouring communities across the surrounding savanna and woodland.
Diamond mining along the Cuango has shaped the town's growth, drawing workers and traders to the area over many decades. The settlement has expanded in an organic way, so its layout follows local paths and the lie of the land more than a formal plan.
A Cafunfo map poster reflects this unplanned, working character. The streets form an uneven mesh with no strict grid, the river adds a winding line through the landscape, and the open land around the town frames it with generous space. It is a simple, honest portrait of a place that is little known outside the region.

Organic street mesh
Streets follow paths and terrain rather than a grid. The result is an irregular, hand-drawn looking pattern of lanes and compounds.
Open surroundings
Savanna and woodland stretch around the settlement, crossed only by a few tracks. This leaves wide empty space around the town.

Cafunfo is home for many families and a place of work for many more, and those ties often last after people move on. A map of the town keeps that connection visible in a calm, graphic form.
