The Moyog River
The river winds through the district from the hills toward the coast. Its curving line is the most distinctive natural feature on the map.

Donggongon Map Poster & Print
Donggongon is the main town of Penampang District in Sabah, Malaysia. It lies just south-east of Kota Kinabalu, on the flat land between the coast and the hills of the interior. On a map, the town centre is a small cluster of streets, with housing areas spreading out along the main roads.
Penampang is a heartland of the Kadazandusun people, the largest indigenous group in Sabah. The area is closely associated with the Kaamatan harvest festival, celebrated each year in May. The Moyog River flows through the district, and the land around it was traditionally used for rice farming.
A Donggongon map poster shows a town between city and countryside. Suburban streets connect to Kota Kinabalu, and the river and fields lead back toward the hills. It is a map of a place in transition, with the lines of new growth running across older agricultural land.

Toward the hills
To the east and south, the flat land gives way to rising hills, and the roads become fewer and more winding as they head inland.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Donggongon is home to many Kadazandusun families and to people who commute to Kota Kinabalu. The map combines river, town and hills into a picture of a familiar landscape.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a village name or a family name. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper suits the river and the fields well.
