Dougnane Map Poster & Print
Dougnane lies in the Thiès region of western Senegal, inland from the Atlantic coast and within reach of the city of Thiès. The land here is flat and fairly dry, and from above the settlement appears as a spread of streets and plots with no single dominant centre. It is a pattern shaped by steady residential growth.
The Thiès region is a crossroads for western Senegal, with roads and rail heading toward Dakar and the interior. Around Dougnane the map shows how settlement and farmland mix in this landscape. Clusters of houses and compounds sit beside open fields, and tracks link them in a loose, practical network.
A Dougnane map poster records a place in the middle of its own story. The street pattern is open and airy, with plenty of white space between the lines. In a minimalist print that restraint is part of the appeal, a calm, personal image rather than a busy urban grid.
