Town centre
The built-up core gathers along the main roads through the valley. It forms a compact, dense area in the middle of the map, surrounded by open land.

Fukumitsu Map Poster & Print
Fukumitsu is in the southwest of Toyama Prefecture, close to the border with Ishikawa, and has been part of the city of Nanto since 2004. On a map, it appears as a modest town centre set in a valley, with streets clustering along the main roads and a river running through the surrounding farmland.
Around the town, the land is divided into the fine, rectangular shapes of rice fields, broken by irrigation channels, small roads and scattered settlements. The gentle valley gives way to forested hills along the sides, and the map shows that change clearly as the network of lines thins out and the ground turns open.
A Fukumitsu map poster is a portrait of rural Hokuriku, not a big city, and that is its appeal. The town streets, the river and the agricultural grid make a restrained, balanced image that suits a minimalist style. It is a natural choice for anyone with family roots in the area or memories of time spent in the Toyama countryside.

Paddy field patterns
Rice fields around the town are divided into small, regular plots separated by channels and lanes. From above, the result is a fine geometric texture that is typical of rural Japan.
Valley and hills
The town sits in a valley framed by forested slopes. On the poster, the road network fades toward the edges, which gives the composition a soft, natural border.
