Crossroads centre
The town grows out from where its main roads meet. Streets are densest there and thin out toward the edges, which draws the eye to the middle of the print.

Katangi Map Poster & Print
Katangi lies in Jabalpur district in eastern Madhya Pradesh, on farmland in the upland country of central India. On a map, the town is a small, dense shape. A few through roads cross it, and many short lanes pack in between them. All around, the land is divided into fields, with village roads running between scattered settlements.
This is inland country, far from any coast, and the map is shaped mainly by roads and the pattern of farming. Streams and small watercourses wind across the district and add a few curved lines to an otherwise angular picture. Because the town is compact and the land around it is so open, the composition has a clear figure and a clear background.
A Katangi map poster is not about landmarks. It is about the outline of an ordinary central Indian town: where the roads meet, how the houses gather and where the fields begin. People who know Katangi will find their own routes in it, and anyone else sees a clean, balanced graphic built from very few elements.

Field patchwork
Farmland surrounds the town in small irregular plots. At poster scale the boundaries form a fine, even texture that fills the space around the streets.
Winding watercourses
Small streams cross the district in loose curves, the only soft lines in a map otherwise made of straight roads and field edges.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
A map of Katangi is a way to hold on to a hometown or a family's place of origin. It is modest and unmistakably specific, the kind of print that means a great deal to the few people who know every lane in it.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, for example to a family name or a meaningful date. It comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
