Streets pack closely together in the centre, bending and branching without a strict grid. This dense cluster is the visual focus of the map.

Keskin Map Poster & Print
Keskin is a district town in Kırıkkale Province, in the heart of central Anatolia. From above it looks like many towns of the plateau: a compact built-up area with streets that bend and branch in a slightly irregular pattern, surrounded on all sides by wide fields, dry hills and long country roads.
The landscape of the high steppe gives the map its character. Cultivated land stretches in large parcels, roads link the town to neighbouring villages and to the provincial centre, and the town itself stands out as a small, dense island of streets in open country.
A Keskin map poster presents that relationship simply. The town becomes a finely drawn cluster, the roads leaving it reach across the frame like spokes, and the open plateau gives the composition a lot of space. It is a spare, calm image of a place firmly rooted in its land.

Roads to the villages
Country roads leave the town in several directions toward nearby villages and larger centres. They form long lines crossing the open plateau.
Open steppe
Fields and dry hills surround the town on every side. The broad empty space around the settlement gives the poster its calm, open quality.
