Khvāf Map Poster & Print
Khvāf is a town in Razavi Khorasan province in eastern Iran, not far from the border with Afghanistan. The map shows a compact urban area of streets and blocks surrounded by dry, open country, with roads leading out across the plain toward neighbouring towns and villages.
The county is known for the ancient windmills of Nashtifan, which are built of clay and wood and use the strong seasonal winds of the region to grind grain. Khvāf is also on the railway line connecting Iran with Herat in Afghanistan, a long straight line across the open land.
A Khvāf map poster shows a desert-edge town with a clean, spare line work. The density of the streets contrasts with the empty space around them, and the long roads and railway add strong direction. It suits people from Khorasan or anyone interested in the landscapes of eastern Iran.

Open plain
Wide stretches of undeveloped land around the town appear as open space on the poster. That emptiness gives the composition a strong sense of scale.
Long roads
Roads and the railway run across the plain toward other settlements and the border. Their long, straight lines lead the eye out of the centre.

Khvāf is rarely mapped for decoration, and that gives the poster a personal quality. It suits people from the town or county, and anyone who remembers the windmills and the wide eastern horizon.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand matches the dry landscape well. The complete HD set costs $9. Check the free 900 px watermarked preview before downloading.
