Web of paths
Streets and footpaths form an irregular network across the settlement, joining homes, gardens and meeting places in an organic pattern.

Kipamba Map Poster & Print
Kipamba lies in Haut-Lomami province, in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. From above, the settlement is a loose arrangement of streets and paths, with houses spread among gardens and open ground. There is no tight centre in the sense of an old European town; instead, the layout reflects gradual, local growth across the land.
The surrounding region is a mix of savanna, woodland and river valleys, and farming is the base of daily life. Roads and tracks connect the settlement to neighbouring communities and to larger towns in the province. Like many places in the region, it is shaped more by the land and the needs of its residents than by formal planning.
A Kipamba map poster turns that informal pattern into a clear graphic image. Lines of paths and roads cross the paper, meeting at junctions and thinning out towards the edges. For people from the area, it is a rare chance to see their home drawn as a map, clean and at scale.

Roads outward
Tracks and roads lead out towards neighbouring villages and towns, forming long lines that fade into the savanna.
Open land
Around the built-up area, open ground and woodland take up much of the map, giving the print large calm spaces.
