Kurumathur Map Poster & Print
Kurumathur is in Kannur district, in the northern part of Kerala. It is not a town with a single dense centre. Like much of this region, it spreads across low laterite hills in a pattern of scattered houses, small roads and lanes that follow the land rather than a grid.
On a map, that pattern produces a fine, branching network. Main roads trace ridges and valleys, and smaller lanes split off to reach homesteads among coconut and areca palms. Small streams and paddy land fill the lower ground, while the built-up areas stay on the slopes.
A Kurumathur map poster captures this rural-urban mix of northern Kerala. The lines are organic and irregular, almost like the veins of a leaf, and they are very different from the planned blocks of larger cities. The result is a soft, detailed composition.

Hill-following roads
Main routes follow the ridges and valleys of the laterite uplands, so their curves reveal the shape of the land underneath.
Low-lying streams
Small watercourses and wet fields run through the lower ground, adding quiet lines between the settled slopes.

Many families from northern Kerala live and work abroad, and a map of the home panchayat can mean more than a photograph. A Kurumathur poster keeps the familiar roads and lanes close, wherever the wall happens to be.
You can personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a house name or a date, and keep or edit the coordinates line. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
