Maholi Map Poster & Print
Maholi is a town in Sitapur district, Uttar Pradesh, on the broad, level plain of the Ganges basin. The land in every direction is flat and intensively farmed, and the town appears on the map as a compact cluster of streets in the middle of a pattern of small fields.
Its centre follows a familiar pattern for market towns in northern India. Narrow lanes run close together around a bazaar area, with houses packed tightly. A few main roads lead out toward Sitapur and surrounding villages, and a railway line passes nearby. New building has spread along these routes, stretching the town's outline.
Ponds and small water tanks appear as solid shapes among the fields, and village settlements dot the countryside nearby. A Maholi map poster shows the town and its setting as they are: a dense centre, the roads leading out, and the patient geometry of the plain.
