Nūrpur Map Poster & Print
Nūrpur is a town in Bijnor district in western Uttar Pradesh, on the level farmland between the Ganges and the foothills of the Himalaya. It serves as a local market for the villages around it, and its streets have grown outward from an older centre along the roads that lead to neighbouring towns.
From above, the town appears as a compact knot of lanes and small blocks, with markets and houses packed closely together near the middle. Toward the edges the pattern loosens into larger plots, orchards and open ground, and then gives way to the regular fields that cover this part of the Gangetic plain.
Sugarcane is one of the main crops in the district, and the rectangular fields surrounding the town give a Nūrpur map poster an orderly outer frame. The contrast between this geometry and the irregular centre is the main visual theme, and it prints especially well in simple black and white.

Radiating roads
Roads leave the centre in several directions toward nearby villages and towns, drawing a loose star pattern across the surrounding farmland.
Field patterns
Rectangular fields, many planted with sugarcane, cover the plain around the town, separated by tracks and irrigation channels running in straight lines.
