Bata housing grid
Rows of near-identical family houses line straight, evenly spaced streets, a repeating rhythm that looks almost like a textile pattern on the finished poster.

Partizánske Map Poster & Print
Partizánske lies in western Slovakia in the valley of the Nitra river, between low wooded hills. It grew from 1938 around a new Bata shoe factory, was known for a time as Baťovany and took its present name after the Second World War. On a map that origin is still clear: the factory and planned residential districts form an orderly composition, unlike the organic cores of older Slovak towns.
The residential districts follow the model tested in Zlín: rows of small brick family houses in green gardens along regular streets, with community buildings close to the factory. Later housing estates from the socialist era extend the plan at a larger scale. Around the town, the Nitra floodplain and the surrounding hills keep the built-up area compact and clearly bounded.
A Partizánske map poster is a portrait of a modernist idea: a town designed from scratch around work, housing and greenery. It suits architecture lovers, people interested in the Bata story, and families who have lived in the brick houses for generations or left for work elsewhere in Slovakia and beyond.

Factory district
The former shoe works occupy a large, regular block beside the residential quarters, the original reason for the town and still a major shape on the map.
Nitra river valley
The Nitra flows past the town across a broad valley floor, its curves and floodplain setting off the geometry of the planned streets.

Few towns show their plan as clearly as Partizánske, and it reads beautifully at 50×70 cm or A2. Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with the former name or a year, and set the coordinates line to your own street.
Blueprint underlines the planned, industrial character, while Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Sand suit different interiors. Buy the $9 HD files in six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
