The Limay River
The river flows along the southern edge of the town in wide channels. Islands and wooded banks give it a soft, irregular shape.

Plottier Map Poster & Print
Plottier lies just west of the city of Neuquén, on the northern bank of the Limay River. From above, the town stretches along the main road through the valley. The river and its green floodplain run to the south, and the dry plateau rises to the north.
The town grew from farmland in the irrigated valley, which has long been known for its fruit. Over the last few decades, Plottier has become a residential town for people working in Neuquén. New neighbourhoods have spread across former plots and orchards, and many keep their long, narrow shapes.
A Plottier map poster shows a landscape in three layers: the river with its islands and channels, the valley with its regular plots and streets, and the plateau beyond. This clear arrangement makes it a calm, well-balanced composition, particularly in Sand.

Valley plots
Long rectangular plots, left over from irrigated farmland, still influence the layout of the streets. They give Plottier's neighbourhoods their elongated shape.
The main road
The main road through the valley links Plottier to Neuquén. It forms a strong horizontal line that holds the whole map together.
