Irrigation channels
Canals and distributaries cross the countryside in long, straight lines, some of the most distinctive features on the map.

Qabula Map Poster & Print
Qabula is a town in the Punjab province of Pakistan, in the agricultural country between Arifwala and Pakpattan. The land here is flat and intensively farmed, and the map reflects that: long, straight field boundaries, irrigation channels, and roads that run for miles without a bend.
The town forms a compact knot at the meeting point of these routes. Its centre is made up of close-packed streets and small blocks, the heart of local trade for the villages around it. On the edges, the fabric loosens into houses, compounds and the first fields of the surrounding farmland.
A Qabula map poster brings that combination together: a dense core at the centre, ruled lines of canals and roads running across the frame, and a regular agricultural patchwork around it. It's a clear picture of how a Punjab market town sits within the irrigated plain that sustains it.

Compact market core
The town centre is a tight cluster of streets where local roads converge, forming the darkest area of the print.
Field patchwork
Around the town, the land is divided into regular rectangular plots, which gives the outer part of the poster a fine grid.
