Kulik River
The river winds past the town and along the sanctuary. Its soft curves give the map a natural flow and separate the built-up area from the woodland.

Rāiganj Map Poster & Print
Rāiganj is the headquarters of Uttar Dinajpur district in northern West Bengal. The town grew along the Kulik River and the national highway that links southern Bengal with the hills and plains further north. On a map the centre forms a dense cluster of streets near the river, with neighbourhoods spreading out among fields and ponds.
Just outside the town lies the Raiganj Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as the Kulik Bird Sanctuary, which shelters one of the largest heronries in Asia. Each monsoon, thousands of migratory birds, especially Asian openbill storks, nest in the trees along the river, making the sanctuary one of the best-known features of the district.
A Rāiganj map poster reflects the close relationship between the town and its water. The winding course of the Kulik sets the tone, and the highway draws a firm, straight line through the composition. Around the edges, the pattern of streets, tanks and open ground gives the print a gentle, low-density texture.
