Historic centre
Narrow, winding lanes and small squares form the medieval core, clearly different from the straighter streets that later grew around it.

Rutigliano Map Poster & Print
Rutigliano lies in the province of Bari, in Apulia, a short distance inland from the Adriatic coast. The historic centre is a tight knot of narrow lanes and courtyards, with a medieval tower and the main church standing within it. Around it, later streets form a more regular pattern, and then the town gives way to farmland planted with vines and olive trees.
The town is known throughout Italy for its terracotta whistles, the fischietti. These small painted clay figures are made by local craftspeople and celebrated every January at the feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot. The surrounding countryside is also known for table grapes, and the neat rows of vineyards shape the landscape around the town.
A Rutigliano map poster shows the classic structure of an Apulian town. A dense, irregular medieval core sits at the centre, wider streets surround it, and a patchwork of fields and country roads stretches beyond. The contrast between the old and the new is very clear from above, and it looks especially refined in the Paper and Sand styles.

Norman-era tower
A tall medieval tower stands in the old town. It is the most recognisable point of the historic centre and a landmark visible from the surrounding countryside.
Vineyard countryside
Rows of table-grape vines and olive groves surround the town. Country roads between them create a fine, regular texture on the map.
