Sabanitas Map Poster & Print
Sabanitas sits in the province of Colón, near the Caribbean end of the Panama Canal. The town grew along the Transisthmian highway, which links Colón with Panama City, and on a map it forms a long, linear pattern of streets and settlements following the road.
At Sabanitas, a road branches off toward the Caribbean coast and the historic port of Portobelo. This junction gives the town its character as a crossroads, with shops, markets and homes gathered around the meeting point of the two routes.
A Sabanitas map poster places the town within a broader landscape of forested hills, streams and coastal lowland. The city of Colón and the canal lie just to the northwest, and the surrounding green space contrasts with the dense, road-based pattern of the town.

Forested hills
