Regular layout
Long, straight streets and fairly uniform blocks give the town an ordered, planned look that reads crisply in monochrome.

Shahrak-e Ţāleqānī Map Poster & Print
Shahrak-e Ţāleqānī lies in the east of Khuzestan province, on the arid lowlands where the plains of southwestern Iran begin to rise toward the Zagros Mountains. The word shahrak means a small or new town, and the layout matches: the streets form a mostly regular pattern with long, straight roads and fairly uniform blocks.
Seen from above, the town stands out clearly from the open land around it. Past the edges, the map becomes sparse, with a few roads, field boundaries and watercourses running across dry country, and the high ground of the foothills in the distance.
A Shahrak-e Ţāleqānī map poster suits a minimalist treatment. The disciplined street pattern creates a clean block of texture in the middle of the frame, and the empty landscape around it gives the composition plenty of air.

Open surroundings
The built area ends abruptly, and around it the land is largely open. That leaves generous white space around the dense core.
Foothill setting
In a wider frame, the terrain begins to rise toward the Zagros ranges, and roads bend as they head into more broken ground.

For anyone who grew up in this corner of Khuzestan, the map shows home as it really is: an ordered town on open land. It is a quiet, personal piece rather than a postcard view.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, including a Persian place name or a family date. There are five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The digital version is $9, or you can order a printed poster.
