Slutsk Map Poster & Print
Slutsk sits on the Sluch River in the Minsk Region of southern Belarus, and from above the river is the first thing the eye follows. It cuts through the town in a soft, winding line, and the older street pattern gathers along its banks before opening out into later districts. Around the edges the plain is almost entirely flat, so the town reads as a clearly bounded shape of streets.
The town is one of the oldest in Belarus. For centuries it was the seat of a principality, and its name is still linked to the Slutsk sashes, the woven silk belts made here in the eighteenth century that are now a national symbol. On a map that long history is quiet. It shows up as a denser centre, set against the more regular blocks added during the twentieth century.
A Slutsk map poster suits the town's modest scale. Every street near the river can be traced, and the transition from older lanes to planned residential quarters stays legible at larger print sizes. With no hills or coastline to frame it, the composition depends on the balance between the river's curve and the surrounding grid, which gives the print a calm, even rhythm on a wall.

Historic centre
The former princely seat left a denser core, where streets are shorter and less regular than in the planned districts built further out.
Flat surrounding plain
Farmland lies flat on every side, so the town's outline stands out clearly and ends in a crisp edge against open space.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Slutsk is a place people carry with them. Families who left for Minsk or further abroad often want the familiar river bend and home streets on their wall, as a quiet reminder of where they grew up or where their grandparents lived.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a family name, a birth year or the date you moved away. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand bring out the warmth of the older centre.
