Historic centre
The oldest part of town is a close-knit tangle of narrow lanes, clearly different from the wider, straighter streets that grew up around it.

Terlizzi Map Poster & Print
Terlizzi lies in the province of Bari, on the gently rising land between the Adriatic coast and the Murge plateau. Its historic centre is a tight cluster of narrow streets and small squares. Around it, later neighbourhoods were laid out on a more regular plan, and roads radiate outward toward the neighbouring towns of Ruvo di Puglia, Molfetta and Bitonto.
The town is known across Italy for floriculture. Flower growing is a major local industry, and cultivated plots and greenhouses cover much of the land around the town. Beyond them lie the olive groves typical of central Apulia, their field boundaries fine and orderly on the map.
A Terlizzi map poster shows the contrast between the dense medieval core and the ordered countryside around it. The old centre reads as a dark knot of lanes, and the straighter streets and radiating roads give the rest of the frame a calm structure.

Radiating roads
Roads leave town in several directions toward neighbouring Apulian towns, so the map takes on a star-like outline at a wider scale.
Flower country
Outside the built-up area, the land is divided into many small cultivated plots, reflecting Terlizzi's long-standing role as a centre of flower growing.

Terlizzi has a large emigrant community, and for many families it is still the paese they come from. A map of its streets is a restrained, meaningful way to keep that connection on display.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example to add a family surname or the year someone emigrated. It comes in five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 HD download or a framed print.
