The railway spine
The suburban line cuts straight through town and organises everything around it. On the print it is a firm, continuous line that splits the street network in two.

Tinnanūr Map Poster & Print
Tinnanūr, often spelled Thirunindravur, is a growing suburb on the western side of the Chennai metropolitan area, in Tiruvallur district. Its shape on the map comes mainly from the suburban railway line toward Arakkonam, which runs through the town. Streets cluster around the station, and newer residential layouts spread out on both sides of the tracks.
Like much of the land around Chennai, the area has traditional irrigation tanks: shallow reservoirs that appear as large, smooth shapes among the tightly built neighbourhoods. Between these open water bodies and the railway corridor, the map shows the step-by-step way the city's western fringe has filled in, one planned layout at a time.
A Tinnanūr map poster works well for residents who commute into the city along this line, and for families who have recently built or bought a home here. The print shows your own street alongside the station, the tanks and the main roads, in a single calm composition.

Water tanks
Large irrigation tanks near the town appear as broad, clean shapes. They give the eye somewhere to rest among the dense residential blocks.
New residential layouts
Recently built neighbourhoods have straighter, more regular street grids than the older core, and the contrast between the two is easy to spot on the map.
