The Berkel
The Berkel runs through Vreden on its way to the Netherlands, a gently curving line that organises the centre and gives the map its main axis.

Vreden Map Poster & Print
Vreden lies in the far west of the Münsterland, just a few kilometres from the Dutch border. The map shows a compact historic core with a network of residential streets around it. Beyond, the flat, open land is typical of the region, with scattered farmsteads, straight field boundaries and small woods.
The Berkel River runs through town and continues west into the Netherlands, eventually reaching the IJssel at Zutphen. Vreden is one of the older towns of the western Münsterland, and its regional history, including cross-border life, is presented at the kult museum in the centre.
A Vreden map poster works because the elements are so clear: the river running through the middle, the dense centre along its banks and the gradual loosening of streets into countryside. The dispersed farms around town, a familiar feature of the Münsterland, add fine points and lines to the open areas.

Münsterland farmland

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Vreden means a quiet river, cycle paths and the border that barely feels like one. A map of it suits locals, people who moved away and cross-border families alike, and its calm layout works in almost any room.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, for example to a family name and the year you moved in. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and pick a digital file or a framed print.
