Yanghe Map Poster & Print
Yanghe is a town in Shandong province, in eastern China. It sits on low, largely flat land where farming has shaped the landscape for centuries. On the map, the built-up area appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by a regular pattern of fields, roads and small villages.
As in many towns in the region, the street pattern mixes older, irregular lanes with newer, wider roads laid out on straighter lines. Rural roads leave the town in long, direct lines across the plain. Small watercourses and irrigation channels also trace thin lines through the surrounding land.
A Yanghe map poster is a quiet portrait of a place that few people outside the region know, but that is home to many. The geometry of fields and roads around the town produces a calm, even texture. It is a thoughtful print for anyone with family ties to this part of Shandong.
