Charenton-le-Pont Map Poster & Print
Charenton-le-Pont lies directly southeast of Paris, sharing a border with the 12th arrondissement. On a map it is a narrow, dense strip of streets squeezed between large features: the wooded expanse of the Bois de Vincennes to the north and the waters of the Seine and Marne to the south, where the two rivers join at the edge of the commune.
The name recalls the bridge over the Marne that for centuries carried the road toward eastern France, a crossing of strategic value in many conflicts around Paris. Today the riverbanks are shared with major road and rail infrastructure, so heavy lines run alongside the water while the town's streets climb gently away from it.
A Charenton-le-Pont map poster captures this layered edge of Paris: the tight urban fabric of apartment blocks, the green mass of the woods, and the forked shape of two rivers meeting. It is a small commune, yet its outline is instantly legible, a place defined by what surrounds it as much as by its own streets.

Bois de Vincennes
The large park of the Bois de Vincennes borders the commune to the north, appearing as a broad area of paths and open space above the dense streets.
Border with Paris
Charenton meets the 12th arrondissement directly, so the ring of the Paris boundary and the continuous urban blocks show how closely the commune is tied to the capital.
