Planned grid
The town's streets form a regular grid of square blocks. It's the clearest feature of the map and shows how the town was planned from the start.

Cornélio Procópio Map Poster & Print
Cornélio Procópio lies in the north of Paraná state in southern Brazil. The countryside here is made up of low, rolling hills and red earth, and it was cleared for farming during the twentieth century. Like many towns in the region that grew during this period, Cornélio Procópio was laid out in a regular grid that runs across the gentle slopes.
The north of Paraná developed quickly as coffee plantations spread across the area. Farming is still important to the local economy, and the town serves the surrounding municipalities as a centre for commerce, education and services. Main roads connect it to other towns across the plateau.
The Cornélio Procópio map poster shows a very orderly pattern. Straight streets meet at right angles to form square blocks, a few main avenues stand out, and the grid ends abruptly where the farmland begins. The regularity gives the print a calm, architectural look that works especially well in the Blueprint style.

Main avenues
A few wider avenues cross the grid and connect the centre with the roads out of town. They add emphasis and structure to the pattern of blocks.
Farmland edge
The street grid stops sharply where the fields begin. This gives the town a clear outline against the open rural land around it.
