Fort Pierce Map Poster & Print
Fort Pierce is the county seat of St. Lucie County on the Atlantic coast of Florida. The city lies along the western shore of the Indian River Lagoon, with Hutchinson Island forming a long barrier strip between the lagoon and the ocean. The Fort Pierce Inlet cuts through that barrier, connecting the lagoon to the Atlantic and creating one of the most recognisable shapes on the local map.
Downtown sits on the waterfront, with a marina and a grid of streets running back from the lagoon. Bridges and causeways carry roads across the water to the island's beaches. The city is home to the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum, near the site where Navy frogmen trained during the Second World War, and it is associated with the Highwaymen, a group of Black landscape painters.
A Fort Pierce map poster brings together the city grid, the broad lagoon, the barrier island and the inlet in one clear black-and-white composition. Water takes up much of the frame, giving the streets a strong horizon. It is a fitting piece for residents, boaters and anyone who has spent time on this stretch of the Treasure Coast.

Indian River Lagoon
The wide lagoon runs parallel to the coast, forming a large open field on the poster between the mainland streets and the island.
Causeways and bridges
Long road crossings stretch over the water to Hutchinson Island, drawing slender lines that tie the downtown grid to the beaches.

Miks Fort Pierce
Kaart, millel on tähendus
Fort Pierce is a place defined by water, and a map shows that more honestly than a photograph: the lagoon, the inlet, the causeway you drive across to the beach. It makes a calm, coastal piece for a living room or a gift for someone who has moved away from Florida.
Set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the name of a boat or the year you arrived. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, with Blueprint suiting the waterfront especially well. Printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
