Corvera de Asturias Map Poster & Print
Corvera de Asturias is a municipality in central Asturias, immediately southeast of Avilés and close to the estuary of the Ría de Avilés. Rather than one centre, it is made up of several towns and villages, including Las Vegas, Trasona and Los Campos, spread across a landscape of green hills, meadows and woodland. On a map, these settlements appear as separate clusters linked by roads.
The northern part of the municipality belongs to the industrial area of Avilés, where large steel and manufacturing sites occupy wide expanses of flat land. Nearby, the Trasona reservoir is used as a training centre for rowing and canoeing. Further south, the land rises into rolling hills dotted with farms and small hamlets, typical of the Asturian countryside.
A Corvera de Asturias map poster reflects this unusual mix. Industrial sites create large geometric shapes, the reservoir forms a smooth open area, and the villages and winding rural roads spread through the green hills. It is a portrait of a municipality that combines industry and countryside within a few kilometres.

Large industrial sites toward Avilés appear as broad geometric blocks, very different in scale from the small village streets further inland.
Scattered villages
Several towns and hamlets are spread across the municipality, linked by winding roads through hills and meadows rather than gathered around a single centre.
