Yishun New Town Map Poster & Print
Yishun is one of Singapore's public housing new towns, built from the late 1970s onward in the north of the island. Its plan follows the classic new town model: a town centre beside the MRT station, surrounded by neighbourhoods of housing blocks, each with its own shops, schools and open spaces. From above, the pattern reads as a set of clusters linked by looping local roads.
The North-South Line runs through the town on a raised track, with stations at Yishun and Khatib, and it slices the map into east and west halves. Arterial avenues curve around the neighbourhoods rather than cutting through them. The street network therefore looks softer and more rounded than an older city grid, with courtyards and car parks tucked between the blocks.
To the east, Lower Seletar Reservoir brings a long body of water into the frame, its banks lined with parkland and paths. Yishun Park and Yishun Pond add more green and blue shapes among the housing. A Yishun New Town map poster shows a carefully planned place in plan form, with water, rail and neighbourhoods fitted together like parts of a diagram.

MRT spine
The elevated North-South Line runs through Yishun with stations at Yishun and Khatib. It forms a straight line that divides the town and anchors its main centres.
Neighbourhood clusters
Housing blocks are grouped into distinct neighbourhoods around shared amenities. On the map they form rounded clusters wrapped by curving avenues and connecting roads.

چرا Yishun New Town
نقشه‌ای با معنا
Many Singaporeans remember their HDB town block by block, and Yishun is home, or was childhood, to a great many of them. A map of its neighbourhoods, reservoir and rail line turns that familiar layout into a calm piece for a new flat or a family gift.
Set a title and subtitle, such as a block number or the year you received your keys, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order a print online or download the files for local printing.
