Mongala River
The river runs past the town in a broad, winding course. Its curves and banks give the poster its strongest shape and frame the settlement on one side.

Ang mapa
Businga Map Poster & Print
Businga is a town in Nord-Ubangi Province in the north of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the Mongala River. From above, the river is the main feature: a wide, winding band of water with a town arranged along one bank. The streets are few and simple, and roads and paths spread out from them into the surrounding forest and farmland.
In this part of the Congo basin, rivers have long been the main routes for moving people and goods, and towns like Businga grew where road and water meet. The map reflects that. A handful of roads run out toward other towns, and between them the land is mostly open, with small tracks, clearings and the soft outlines of the river's banks.
A Businga map poster is mostly space and line: the river's curves, a compact grid near the water, and roads that thin out toward the edges. In black and white, the town looks like a small, deliberate mark in a large landscape, which is a fair description of how it sits in the region.

Riverside streets
The town's streets cluster near the water in a small, loose grid. It is a compact core that contrasts with the scale of the river and land around it.
Roads outward
A few roads leave town toward the rest of Nord-Ubangi. On the map they are long, lonely lines crossing open country, with scattered tracks branching off.
