Break from the grid
Where the Eixample's chamfered blocks end, the streets of Gràcia become narrower and less regular. The change is visible at a glance on the poster.

Ang mapa
Gràcia Map Poster & Print
Gràcia was a separate town until Barcelona annexed it in 1897, and the map still shows the difference. Just north of the Eixample's uniform octagonal blocks, the streets of Gràcia turn narrow and irregular, laid out lot by lot rather than to a single plan. The district sits between Avinguda Diagonal to the south and the slopes that rise toward Park Güell in the north.
The streets open repeatedly into small squares, among them Plaça del Sol, Plaça de la Vila with its clock tower and Plaça de la Virreina. Carrer Gran de Gràcia runs through the district as its main axis. Each August the Festa Major de Gràcia sees residents decorate whole streets.
A Gràcia map poster shows a place that kept its own scale inside a large city. The fine, slightly uneven streets and scattered squares contrast with the rigid grid below, and the green of Park Güell at the upper edge adds a softer shape to the composition.

Squares
Small plazas appear throughout the district as open pauses in the street pattern. Plaça del Sol and Plaça de la Vila are among the best known.
Park Güell
Gaudí's park lies on the hillside at the northern edge, its winding paths standing out against the denser streets of the neighbourhood below.

Bakit Gràcia
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Gràcia is the kind of neighbourhood people remember at street level: a terrace in a square, a festival weekend, a small flat above a shop. The map keeps that intimate scale, which suits a hallway or a bedroom wall.
Add your own title and subtitle, a date or a square's name, and a coordinates line. Sand and Paper suit the Mediterranean light of the district, while Classic black and white sharpens the contrast with the grid.
