Ang mapa
Reus Map Poster & Print
Reus lies on the plain of the Camp de Tarragona, a few kilometres inland from the Mediterranean. From above, its oldest part is easy to find: an almond-shaped core of narrow streets enclosed by a ring of boulevards, the ravals, that follow the line of the former walls. Beyond the ring, the city spreads out in more regular blocks.
Reus is known as the birthplace of the architect Antoni Gaudí, and the city has a significant collection of Modernista buildings, including Lluís Domènech i Montaner's Institut Pere Mata. It also has a long commercial history, including a strong link with vermouth, and an airport serving the Costa Daurada.
A Reus map poster works because the ring of ravals frames the old town so clearly. The dense centre, the circular boulevards and the orderly expansion districts make an elegant, legible design, with the plain stretching away on all sides. It is a city whose history can be read from the street plan alone.

Medieval centre
Inside the ring, narrow streets and small squares form a dense, irregular web around the Priory church of Sant Pere.
Expansion districts
Outside the ravals, later neighbourhoods follow straighter, more regular blocks spreading toward the roads to Tarragona and the coast.

Bakit Reus
Isang mapang may kahulugan
For Gaudí and Modernisme admirers, or anyone who has lived in or near Reus, the map is an elegant keepsake. The ring of boulevards gives the design an obvious focal point that looks good at every size.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps in Catalan, add a date and set the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The warm tones of Sand suit the Mediterranean setting.
