Qashqadaryo river
The river crosses the city as a narrow green corridor through otherwise dry land, the natural line around which Qarshi first grew.

Ang mapa
Qarshi Map Poster & Print
Qarshi lies in a broad oasis in southern Uzbekistan, where the Qashqadaryo river crosses a flat, dry plain. The city's older quarter sits near the river, with a tighter weave of streets and courtyard houses, while the modern city spreads outward in wide avenues and regular blocks. Irrigated fields and canals ring the urban area before giving way to open steppe.
Known in earlier centuries as Nasaf or Nakhshab, Qarshi was a stop on caravan routes linking Bukhara with the south. A centuries-old brick bridge still crosses the Qashqadaryo, and historic mosques and madrasas, including the Kok Gumbaz mosque, stand in the centre. Today the city is the administrative capital of the Qashqadaryo region.
A Qarshi map poster contrasts the river and the old quarter with the long straight lines of the modern city. Digital HD files are $9 for six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF without a watermark, and printed posters on matte paper are available with an optional wooden frame.

Old brick bridge
A centuries-old arched bridge spans the river near the historic quarter, still one of the most recognisable points in the city's layout.
Modern avenues
Beyond the old centre, broad straight roads and large residential blocks create a regular pattern that fills most of the map.

Bakit Qarshi
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Qarshi rarely appears on travel itineraries, which is exactly why a map of it means so much to the people who know it. It suits families from the city, those working abroad, and anyone who wants a reminder of a specific river and oasis.
Choose your own title, add a subtitle with a date or a name, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, the last of which fits the desert setting naturally.
