Valley layout
The town is drawn out along its river valleys, not arranged around a single centre. On paper this gives it a long, flowing shape.

Ang mapa
Schroeder Map Poster & Print
Schroeder is a small municipality in northern Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, close to Jaraguá do Sul and the industrial Itapocu valley. Like many towns in this region, it was settled by German immigrants, and that history still shows in family names and local traditions. Forested hills of the Serra do Mar rise around it.
The map follows the landscape. The town stretches along its river valleys, and its main roads run with the water. Residential streets climb a little way up the slopes and stop where the hills get steep. The pattern is long and linear rather than round, which gives the map a distinctive flow.
A Schroeder map poster shows a town shaped by valleys: rivers, the roads beside them and the green hills around. It is a fitting keepsake for local families and for people who moved to the region to work.

Hillside edges
Streets climb a short way up the slopes and end where the forested hills become steep, leaving a clear border between the town and the green.
River lines
Small rivers run through the valley floor, and the main roads follow them. Together they form the backbone of Schroeder's map.
