Branching waterways
Streams and rivers thread across the commune towards the coast, drawing branching lines that give the map much of its movement and structure.

Amboanjo Map Poster & Print
Amboanjo is a commune in the Fitovinany region of south-eastern Madagascar, inland from the coast near Manakara. The area is lower, warmer and wetter than the central highlands, and on a map the commune is a loose network of settlements and roads crossing hilly, well-watered country, with streams and rivers running down towards the sea.
There is no compact town grid here. Instead, the map shows small village clusters joined by winding routes, with waterways adding further irregular lines. It is the kind of landscape where the natural drainage pattern matters as much as the roads, and the two together form a delicate, branching composition.
An Amboanjo map poster is a quiet portrait of the Malagasy east coast hinterland. In black and white, the rivers and tracks become fine threads across a pale ground. For anyone with a personal connection to the commune, it offers a record of the land that is otherwise difficult to find in print.

Village clusters
Settlements appear as small dense patches scattered across the landscape, linked by routes rather than forming a single built-up centre.
Coastal hinterland
The commune sits in the lower country behind Madagascar's south-east coast, and the map captures that transitional terrain between hills and the coastal plain.
