The mountain
The mountain that gives the town its name shapes the map around it. It pushes roads into curves and leaves large areas of open, unbuilt ground on its slopes.

Dazeshan Map Poster & Print
Dazeshan is a town in the Pingdu area of Qingdao, in eastern Shandong, named after the mountain that rises above it. Its map combines two landscapes. There is a modest built-up centre with straight streets and village clusters, and there are the hills around it, where roads start to twist as they climb. The balance between compact settlement and open ground is what gives the town its character from above.
The area is known in China for its grapes, which are grown on the slopes and lowlands around the mountain and sold under the Dazeshan name. Orchards and fields surround the villages. Outside the centre, most of the map is quiet space crossed by farm roads and small watercourses, with settlements spaced out along them.
A Dazeshan map poster is a personal object more than a travel souvenir. It suits people who grew up in these villages, families who tend vineyards here, and anyone with ties to rural Shandong who wants a simple, accurate picture of home. The hills give the design a natural frame, and the scattered villages keep it light.

Town centre
The main settlement has a compact pattern of straight streets and blocks. It is the densest part of the map and the clear focal point of the composition.
Farm roads and villages
Beyond the centre, a loose network of rural roads links small villages through fields and vineyards. This gives the edges of the poster a light, scattered texture.

למה Dazeshan
מפה עם משמעות
Rural towns rarely get a poster of their own, which is exactly why this one means something. For people from Dazeshan, the map shows the roads between villages and the shape of the mountain they grew up beneath. It is drawn with care, not reduced to a dot on a larger map.
You can write the title in your own words, add a subtitle and edit the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free watermarked preview lets you check the design first. The HD files cost $9, and printed posters come framed or unframed.
