Dorbod Map Poster & Print
Dorbod lies in western Heilongjiang, in northeast China, on the wide Songnen plain. From above, the town is fairly compact, with a mostly regular street pattern and a few main roads leading out across very flat land. Around it, the landscape is open, with grassland, farmland and many shallow lakes and wetlands spread across the region.
Dorbod is the seat of the Dorbod Mongol Autonomous County, part of Daqing. It is one of the areas in Heilongjiang with a significant Mongol community, and grassland and livestock farming have long been part of local life. The nearby lakes and wetlands are home to birds and give the region its distinctive watery landscape.
A Dorbod map poster shows a neat town surrounded by a lot of open space. The straight streets contrast with the irregular shapes of lakes and wetlands nearby, giving the design both order and softness. It is a quiet, spacious map that reflects the flat, wide horizons of northeast China.

Lakes and wetlands
Shallow lakes and marshes are scattered across the land around the town. Their irregular outlines give the poster soft, natural shapes.
Open plain
The Songnen plain stretches flat in all directions. Long roads crossing it add a few strong lines to an otherwise open landscape.
