Écully Map Poster & Print
Écully lies just west of Lyon, on the hills above the Saône. The terrain is rolling and green, and from above the town looks less like a dense grid and more like a network of curving roads threading between gardens, parkland and residential streets. Main roads and motorways towards Lyon cut along its edges.
The town is known in France for its higher education institutions. The École Centrale de Lyon has its campus here, as does emlyon business school, and the Institut Paul Bocuse, a culinary school, occupies a château in the town. These campuses appear on the map as large open spaces with their own internal paths.
An Écully map poster captures this mix of academic grounds, residential lanes and green slopes. It shows a place that is part of greater Lyon yet clearly distinct from it, with a looser, more organic pattern than the city centre just a few kilometres away.

Rolling terrain
The hills west of Lyon give Écully curving roads that follow the land, producing an irregular, organic texture rather than a strict geometric grid.
Edge of Lyon
Major roads mark the boundary between Écully and the wider Lyon metropolitan area, framing the town and showing its position just outside the city proper.
