Gigante Map Poster & Print
Gigante stands in the department of Huila in southern Colombia, in the upper valley of the Magdalena River. The town occupies ground between the valley floor and the rising slopes of the Andean cordillera, so its map combines a regular Spanish colonial grid with roads that twist away uphill into farming country.
The centre follows the classic pattern of Colombian towns: a main square with blocks laid out around it in a neat grid. Beyond that core, the land becomes the defining feature. Coffee and other crops cover the slopes, and the rural roads that serve them bend and branch across the hills, while the Magdalena's course marks the valley below.
A Gigante map poster keeps both sides of the place in view: the ordered streets around the plaza and the irregular lines of the mountains and river. In black and white, that contrast gives the print depth. It suits people from Huila, coffee lovers and anyone who knows the long road down the Magdalena valley.

Magdalena valley
Colombia's main river runs through the valley below the town, a long line that anchors the composition and explains where roads and settlements sit.
Mountain roads
Rural routes climb away from the centre toward the farmed slopes of the Andes, bending with the terrain and adding movement to the edges of the print.
