Kafr Şaqr Map Poster & Print

Kafr Şaqr sits in Sharqia, in the eastern part of the Nile Delta, where flat and intensively farmed land is laced with canals and drainage channels. From above, the town reads as a dense knot of short, irregular streets, with buildings packed closely together and the countryside beginning almost at the last row of houses. Roads leave the centre in several directions, linking it to neighbouring villages and towns.

The most striking thing on a map of this part of Egypt is the geometry of water. Canals run in long, nearly straight lines, and field boundaries follow them, producing a fine grid of narrow parcels. Against that orderly pattern, the older core of the town looks organic and crowded, a small tangle of alleys that grew outward over generations of agricultural life.

A Kafr Şaqr map poster keeps only the essentials: street lines, waterways and the outline of built blocks, rendered in black and white. Without colour or labels competing for attention, the contrast between the dense town and the measured rural grid becomes the subject. It is a quiet, graphic portrait of a Delta community, suited to anyone with family ties or memories here.
