Moa Map Poster
Moa lies on the northeastern coast of Cuba, in Holguín Province, where the mountains of the east come close to the Atlantic. From above, the town is a mix of residential districts, large industrial sites and roads that link them along the coast. Rivers descend from the hills into the sea, and a reef-sheltered shoreline marks the northern edge.
The town is the centre of Cuba's nickel industry. The surrounding reddish lateritic soils contain large deposits of nickel and cobalt, and the processing plants built around Moa have shaped the town's growth and much of its economy. To the southeast lie the forested mountains of Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A Moa map poster shows an unusual pairing: planned housing blocks and industrial layouts next to a wild coastline and mountain forests. The contrast between straight, engineered shapes and natural edges gives the printed map a distinctive character.

Industrial layouts
Nickel processing sites sit around the town with their own road networks. On the map they form large, geometric shapes that differ from the housing districts.
Mountain backdrop
Hills rise quickly inland, leaving few streets to the south. This gives the map an open upper area that points toward the protected forests.

למה Moa
מפה עם משמעות
For families from eastern Cuba and for people who worked in the mines and plants, Moa is more than a place on a map. A clean poster of the town and its coast keeps that memory close, far from the island.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to make it personal, then pick one of five styles, including Noir and Blueprint. HD files cost $9 in six print sizes, with a free watermarked preview to check the layout first.
