The Moju River
The river loops broadly past the town. Its width and bends dominate the poster and give it a flowing outline that could only belong to the Amazon.

Moju Map Poster & Print
Moju is a municipality in the northeast of the Brazilian state of Pará, south of Belém, in the low country of the lower Amazon, laced with water. The town takes its name from the Moju River, which is the defining feature on the map. It is a wide, winding channel, with smaller creeks branching away from it into the surrounding green.
The urban area is modest and sits close to the water, with a small grid of streets running back from the riverbank. Beyond it, roads are few and long, and waterways carry much of the region's traffic, as is common across this part of Pará. The contrast between the neat blocks of town and the looping rivers gives the map an unusual, organic balance.
A Moju map poster is mostly about where water and land meet. The meanders of the river, the fine tributaries and the compact settlement on the bank make a composition that feels closer to a natural history print than a city plan. That is much of its appeal for anyone connected to the Amazon region.

Riverbank grid
Moju's streets form a small, orderly grid set back from the water, a clear geometric shape against the irregular lines of the creeks and floodplain.
Creeks and channels
Narrow waterways branch off the main river in every direction, drawing a delicate network that fills the space around the town with fine detail.
