Setsan is an urban quarter of Yangon, Myanmar's largest city. Yangon is surrounded on several sides by rivers and tidal creeks, and water sets many of the city's edges. Around Setsan the map is fully urban: blocks of housing and shops, streets in a mostly regular grid, and the busier roads that carry traffic toward the centre and the port.

Yangon's downtown was laid out under British rule on a strict grid beside the Yangon River, and later neighbourhoods largely continued that orderly pattern.
