The through road
A main road runs through the town and anchors the whole composition. Most of the denser streets and buildings line up along it, so it forms the natural centre line of the poster.

Tegina Map Poster & Print
From above, Tegina reads as a town shaped by movement. A through road carries the strongest line across the sheet, and the denser part of town gathers along it. Behind that line, shorter lanes and footpaths fan out between compounds. They loosen as they go until the built pattern gives way to open ground. The result is a map with a clear spine and softly dissolving edges.
Tegina sits in Niger State in north-central Nigeria, in the wide savanna belt between the Niger River basin and the northern plains. The land around it is used mostly for farming, and on a map that shows as broad unmarked space, crossed here and there by tracks linking the town to nearby villages. For a small place, that contrast between the settled core and the open country gives it an unusually legible outline.
A Tegina map poster keeps that balance: the dark weight of the main road and market streets against the pale surrounding land. Printed in black and white, the irregular lanes and informal blocks take on the look of a hand-drawn diagram rather than a planned grid. It is a quiet, graphic portrait of a town that most maps show only as a dot.

Organic lanes
Away from the main road the street pattern turns irregular. Short lanes bend between family compounds and meet at odd angles, giving the map a loose, handmade texture instead of a strict grid.
Savanna edges
At the edges of town the streets thin into tracks that head out across farmland. This open margin frames the settlement and leaves generous white space around the built core.
