Compact centre
The main streets form a small, fairly regular core where roads meet. On the poster this reads as the densest part of an otherwise open composition.

Tinde Map Poster & Print
Tinde is a town in the Shinyanga Region of northern Tanzania, in the broad savanna country south of Lake Victoria. The land around it is mostly flat to gently rolling, used for farming and grazing. From above, the town is a modest cluster of streets surrounded by open ground, with tracks and roads running out in several directions toward villages and fields.
The Shinyanga landscape is known for scattered granite outcrops and wide, dry plains, and that setting gives maps of the area a lot of open space. A Tinde map poster shows the town as a small, clearly defined shape, with a looser pattern of paths and homesteads spreading out around it rather than a sharp edge.
Towns in this region serve as meeting points for the surrounding farming communities, with a market area and main road forming the core. The streets near the centre are more regular, while the outer lanes follow the ground and field boundaries. In black and white, the contrast between centre and countryside becomes the poster's defining feature.

Radiating tracks
Rural roads and footpaths run outward from town across the plains. Their thin, branching lines connect the centre to the surrounding villages and farms.
Open savanna
Farmland and grazing land surround Tinde on every side. The map keeps this space largely empty, which gives the street pattern room to stand out.
