Andulo is a town in Bié Province, on the high central plateau of Angola. The landscape around it is open and gently undulating. On a map the settlement appears as a modest cluster of streets with a scatter of smaller tracks, and main roads run away from it in long, confident lines.
The Bié plateau is some of the highest ground in the country, and its towns are linked by roads that cross large distances between settlements. Andulo is one of these regional crossroads, serving the farmland and villages around it.
